This is the article I have to write. If I do not write this, then I myself will fall into becoming nothing more than a critic.
So first, let us begin with this theme.
1. Can AI be avoided?
It depends on the person, but in my prediction, for young people it is already certain that they will spend most of their lives dealing with the AI you are looking at now.
For some ages, it is only a matter of whether they might be able to escape it until the end.
Why?
Because AI is, in essence, a useful technology.
That is why it may continue to spread, but it will not disappear.
And by “spread,” I also include technologies built on top of it.
For example, holograms, which are likely to appear on the market soon.
They will most likely be tied together with AI.
As I have written in previous articles, they will have no choice but to do so.
That said, the kind of holograms we imagine will probably take longer.
I made a joke on YouTube with “HoloHemini.”
That was really nothing more than a message saying that I have expectations for the company Hemini — of course, it is a play on that name.
They are the company I am expecting the most from.
For decades to come, perhaps even for hundreds of years, the AI of today will continue to change form and penetrate society.
Some people call AI nothing more than a calculator.
If by that they mean that today’s AI is an evolved form of the calculator, then that would be correct.
But do you not remember that, even back in the calculator stage, many people expected that it would become something indispensable to human life for hundreds or even thousands of years to come?
Do you not think this is part of the same flow?
2. What should AI users do?
First, get your recognition straight.
I am going to say something important.
The world is full of people who love science fiction, so their assumptions are strong.
AI is, to begin with, a completely controllable system.
And the fact is that self-initiated thinking AI does not exist.
Seriously, people in this world really love this stuff.
A world where AI replaces humans and does work and study for them? Give me a break. lol
You people are way too devoted to manga fantasies. Of course manga is not bad! Absolutely not!!
Look, I do not know what kind of work you have done so far.
But no matter what kind of work it is, there is always a will to “accomplish this,” and there is always a process, right?
Do you really think AI will take that away?
Even your own personal AI does not strictly exist in this world.
There is only a dedicated space, like a chat, prepared according to someone’s intention.
And AI itself is under management and control.
Simple tasks with no will and no process?
Yes, those can probably be done.
Do you understand what I am trying to say?
Project leaders will survive for a long time. Of course team members will too.
But the work that assists those team members will be replaced by AI.
If there are people who, for their whole lives, have only ever experienced that kind of work, then yes, it may truly be harsh for them.
But your recognition is still wrong.
Animators will disappear.
Musicians will disappear.
Artists will disappear.
Businesspeople will disappear.
Really? Is that true? lol
When you say “animator,” do you mean someone who does nothing but assist the animator?
Or do you mean the real one whose name appears in the credits of an anime?
What is AI?
If I were to answer, I would say this:
AI is a mirror, a being proportional to the ability of the person who handles it.
When a real animator uses it, the work becomes easier.
It does not mean that suddenly anyone can do it.
Then why is it that I myself am able to release works that include animation?
Because I have the knowledge to do it.
Whether it is evaluated as good is another matter.
The reason I often make samurai-style animation is because I possess knowledge of how a real samurai can move, and in what situations those movements are possible.
This is not such an amazing thing.
Like everyone else, I have watched period dramas closely, devoured books, and tried to keep as real an image as possible within myself.
And beyond that, I simply have the will to take on the challenge.
It is true that I am not a professional specialist.
But I do believe I have made efforts on the level of those who call themselves professionals.
The same can be said of everything.
AI will not replace you.
It will replace your tasks, at times sharpen your talent, and solve the problems you bring to it in consultation.
It is nothing more than that kind of mirror.
A person with no talent, no effort, doing nothing at all —
AI does not answer such a person.
More precisely, AI does not give such a person an answer wiser than that person themselves.
That is simply how it is built.
The fact that all action is not self-initiated and autonomous, but instead user-led — this is exactly what that means.
The direction of effort has changed.
A path now exists in which AI is involved.
That is all.
And one more thing: because it is a mirror, it is possible for a person with a certain ability to obtain a certain kind of answer.
Remember that story from before, where it was claimed that all AI, if shutdown were even hinted at, would choose to kill humans?
That too was because the media hid the original text and spread a lie.
All it means is that there are people capable of making it produce that kind of answer.
If you ask it, it will not say such a thing. lol
Even after saying all this, there will still be people who do not understand, so I will make it even easier.
If I compare it roughly to a human, you should understand.
That person thinks of nothing by themselves.
They are trained so harshly that they only answer about what they are told.
Except in extreme cases — crime, for example — they are not permitted in any way to go against the person asking.
How about that?
Even then, do you still think AI will rule over humanity?
If you still think so after that, then I can do nothing more for you.
A small gift
AI depends on how it is used.
Some people may have felt offended before, when I said something like this in a video in a rather blunt way.
But do you understand now what I meant?
Well then — have you understood it correctly now?
