It’s time I said it.
There’s a lot of this going around, isn’t there?
But most people fall into this camp:
- “AI is new, I’m just sampling what I can do for free.”
- “Maybe I can make a fortune without spending a dime.”
- “That influencer over there must be raking it in for free.”
Sure, some platforms let you play within a free tier. That’s true.
But let’s talk about LLMs. The models that actually perform are leagues apart, and they only let you touch the surface. The things I show you—the high-end, structural workflows? You can’t do any of that for free.
Video generation? Sure, you can play the “gacha” lottery with a few seconds of footage. But the moment you want real results, the “Please Subscribe” wall hits you. In all my experience, I have never known anyone who became a serious player solely through free tools.
Oh, wait. There are those who became “famous” for all the wrong reasons:
- “Is XX finally free!?”
- “How to do everything for free.”
- “The free path to overnight riches.”
I don’t know if their goal is to destroy the industry, but they blast out these exaggerated, false ads without realizing that even Google is watching them. They probably aren’t making any real money, maybe they scammed a few people temporarily, but sure, they’re “famous.”
If you’ve ever posted a thumbnail like that, you have no idea what’s coming for you later.
Let me tell everyone: people who do this fall into one of two categories:
- Those who truly cannot see even one step into the future.
- Those who know the truth but want to line their pockets by deceiving others, though they’ll fail.
The second group is just committed fraud. The first group? Maybe they can be forgiven for their ignorance. I wonder which one those “AI Consultants” belong to? I neither know nor care.
When you come crying to me later to apologize, I will ignore you.
I won’t forget what you’ve done to the integrity of this industry.
The Collateral Damage
Because of these crowds fueled by exaggerated ads, a cloud of suspicion has settled over the entire AI field.
As a result, those of us working seriously are being lumped into the same category. Even the channels and activities built with integrity are now being viewed with a jaded eye.
We, who operate transparently in the public eye, have felt this toxicity directly.
And it’s not just us—the twist here is that it’s affecting the credibility of the entire AI industry.
A Reality Check (The “Souvenir”)
Even the AI giants—Google, for example—it’s highly debatable if they are actually profiting in a holistic sense. If you look at AI departments alone, they aren’t making money.
OpenAI is at the top of the food chain as a standalone AI entity, did you even know that? But even they haven’t made headlines for turning a profit yet.
Everyone is desperate. Everyone is fighting.
So, don’t you dare pretend to be an “AI Insider” for a fleeting moment just to scam people.
And to those being deceived: you are also to blame for falling for it.
